Brynje believe this Jacket is their true all rounder, containing high enough spec and features for Expeditions, while still having the relaxed comfort of being able to wear to the office. The jacket is once again based on Brynje’s fundamental principle of using mesh combined with wool to give you the best performing garment for serious users. The outer layer is 70% Merino and 30% Polyamid, giving the jacket a more robust finish. The Merino fibers are also Teflon coated, giving the jacket good water resistance in a shower. The Merino wool outer layer also insulates the body from the cold even under damp or wet conditions. The Proline windproof/breathable membrane, sewn into the front of the jacket between the lining and outer layer, provides protection from biting winds. The breathability and warmth of the jacket is excellent and the windproof lining in the front minimizes the need to put on a full windproof waterproof jacket.

The Bergans Antarctic Expedition jacket was designed and tested for the worlds harshest Polar environments. Windproof and water-repellant, the jacket keeps you protected, while offering greater breathability than a fully membraned jacket. This is essential in cold climates where a build up of moisture can be very problematic.
Everything about the jacket has been designed for ease of use. Strong zips, with easy motion, mean there is no energy wasted fighting to open and close them. Long pull tabs mean zips can be operated with Mitts on, and under arm vents help to ventilate when warm.
The Microfiber material means the jacket is also softer and more quiet than other jackets.
Fabric Windproof and water-repellent microfiber fabric. Good wicking ability and quick-drying.
Hood Fixed helmet compatible hood. Velcro attachment for artificial fur trim in size L. Wire reinforcement for fit adjustment.
Ventilation Long underarm zip vents. 2-way zip in front.
Pockets Front pockets and large chest pockets in mesh for optimum breathability and ventilation. Attachment loops in the pockets. The design ensures that the front pockets do not interfere with the hip belt when you carry a backpack.
Additional features Crotch strap. Extra durable zip pulls. Double front storm flap with Velcro.
